This laundry was part of a multi-room renovation which included the main bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. A common layout for homes built in years gone past was to have a central landing space with three entrance doors off this area leading to these three rooms. What we did with this renovation was to incorporate that landing space into the laundry, we created new entrances to both the laundry and main bathroom from the hallway with the toilet incorporated into the bathroom area. By doing this we created more space in the laundry for added storage and extra bench space. The completed laundry is now spacious with ample storage solutions, there is a place for the washing machine and dryer plus a built-in pullout laundry hamper. A perfect laundry for a young family.
Room Details
Room size prior to renovation was 1.8m x 2.5m with a ceiling height of 2.4m. Timber stud walls and concrete slab floor.
