This is another project with multiple rooms to renovate. This old larger home was built to last, with double brick walls and suspended concrete slab floors to the upper levels. This type of building can create some obstacles when renovating. Firstly, there was asbestos sheeting to be abated, then before starting the renovation we had to come up with a plan to give the homeowners the new modern bathroom they wanted while working with some plumbing and construction limitations. The final product is an amazing transformation that includes a raised platform wet area with an open walk-in shower and freestanding bathtub. The finishes include terrazzo look tiles with matte black fixtures, feature lighting and an extra-long tiled wall niche.
